To invite pastors and physicians into a working partnership by which patients are transitioned from physical to spiritual healing.
History & Goals
This ministry has slowly re-emerged over the last decade as various physicians have rediscovered the higher calling of a Christian physician. After praying, searching, and preparing--sometimes for several years--physicians have opened their own practices under divine conviction. Their pitfalls, blessings, successes, strategies and models are shared with the prayer and hope that others will follow.
Dr. Wendell Heidinger is one of those physicians who have responded. With the support of the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, he has made this website to promote these goals and assist doctors and pastors.
Methods
The full explanation of the slideshow and the photo sequence at the top of each page can be found by reading the Doctor-Patient page and the Doctor-Pastor page. The basic idea is that the doctor uses his medical relationship with the patient to build trust. Then the patient can be led to trust in God. As the patient seeks spiritual healing the pastor is introduced to help bring the patient the rest of the way into a full relationship with God and hopefully with the church.
